However, it has greatly influenced students' learning, especially teenagers' language development. The overuse of the Internet slang will lead to the lack of proper pronunciation, grammar and numerous misspellings in writing. Some teenagers even use them in essay writing.
From my point of view, the Internet slang can mislead students' learning, which will hinder their future development. We can use the Internet Slang for fun, but we cannot apply it to the formal language. Therefore, for the sake of their future, teenagers had better refrain from the Internet slang.
