Directions: In this section, you will hear three news reports. At the end of each news report, you will hear two or three questions. Both the news report and the questions will be spoken only once. After you hear a question, you must choose the best answer from the four choices marked A, B, C and D. Then mark th ……此处隐藏83052个字…… ，“曾”字可用一般过去时来体现，也可以用once、before这类词来体现。“仅限于”可用类似句型“be confined to+范围”来表达，若考生在考场上想不出，也可以用“反话正说”的方法，处理成“只能在……中获得”，用available这一简单词汇也可。对于“供应”的翻译也是如此，可用be served、be supplied等表达，或简单译为can be eaten。

    4．第2段前两句信息比较简单，可考虑将两句合译，用when引导的定语从句体现两者隐含的解释说明关系。“600年前的明代”看似是偏正词组，但实际上“600年前”和“明代”是两个并列信息，即源于600年前，而当时是明代，翻译时要注意。

    5．第2段第3句前半句“人们认为……”中的主语“人们”是泛指，适用于处理成英文的被动句，用sth. is considered...的句型。本句讲述明代的事，要用一般过去时。后半句按原语序译出即可。

    6．第2段最后一句“正是……”可译为英文中的强调句型it is... that...。
